Premier Island Management Group is a small, family business, owned and operated by Rob Babcock and Michelle Evans who both live on Pensacola Beach with their families. When they formed this company in June 2008 it was to maintain a clear focus on resort condominium vacation rental and association management.

Rob Babcock was born in upstate New York and focused his professional life in hospitality, specifically hotel and resort operations. He has lead operations for Stouffer’s Marriott and Intrawest properties in New York, Seattle, the Virgin Islands, St. Petersburg and Destin.

Michelle Evans is a native Floridian born in Tallahassee with a degree from Florida State University. She has an accounting background and has supported the accounting efforts for small businesses as well as in association management for Sandestin, Grand Shores among others.

Rob and Michelle knew one another for several years from their executive roles in Destin. In June 2008, the two entrepreneurs left the corporate world to follow their passion of building a management company that would set the industry standard for excellence in resort condominium management and Premier Island Management Group was formed. In the first year, the company set ambitious goals to: build a talented and knowledgeable team; create a solid infrastructure of efficient systems and processes;  and foster a strong culture in order to deliver the promise of their distinctive brands.

Premier team members are selected because they are detail-oriented, service-minded professionals who excel in their given areas of rental management, guest relations, reservations, lodging, club operations, marketing, accounting, housekeeping, and maintenance, while working as an effective team.
